Lord Yongzheng's view of the handed down beauty of the Ming Dynasty is contradictory. Of course, he knew the good of those objects, and repeatedly ordered them to be imitated; But I felt that there was something wrong here and there, and I had to change it. The biggest problem is that many places are not sophisticated and elegant enough.

For example, Chenghua's Doucai Chicken Bowl Cup has been highly respected for hundreds of years, especially in painting, which is a model of ceramic painting. Emperor Yongzheng, however, did not care about so much. It was not good enough. It was not delicate.

Yongle's flower pouring vessel is completely from Western Asia. It is rich, full, powerful and somewhat beautiful, but Yongzheng is not satisfied with it. He even doesn't want to spend his strength on improvement: redesign! Flower watering is still needed.

The emperor himself should personally participate in such a design. There is a general idea in my mind that Jingdezhen should implement it immediately and then make adjustments and modifications. It is unrealistic and the cycle is too long. It is difficult to develop a new shape without months of effort, and it takes a lot of time to transport it back and forth. It will take years to produce a sample and then modify it.

What should I do? There are craftsmen in the palace building office. Let them sample. Just beside the emperor, carpentry can be changed quickly. Pictures are easier. There are so many court painters, even foreign painters. The shape of the vessel was determined, and the wood sample and the painting were handed over to Tang Ying, the pottery official, to be fired in Jingdezhen.

Flexible and elegant
The mouth stretches outward along one side, which is of course convenient for water to flow out. Like a spout, it also looks smart, elegant, practical and beautiful, which is just right. The upward trend and the downward force of the abdomen form a corresponding tension.

Beauty of Bottleneck
Down, the neck slightly bulges a circle: because the neck is thin and the abdomen is full and powerful, the handlebar connects the two places. Without this circle, the neck seems to be unable to bear the force of falling.

We also pay great attention to it. Upward decoration was made at the joint of both ends, like gorgeous English fonts. The neck stretches like a swan. The abdomen is full and powerful, but it is not clumsy. The two strings add a flexible charm. The feet should be handled cleanly and forcefully, and the abdomen should be firmly supported. It's a pity that Yongzheng doesn't work as a designer.

The rising force of the mouth edge and the sinking force of the abdomen form a corresponding tension. Let the whole object show strength in elegance.

Beautiful and elegant
From top to bottom, it is divided into seven or eight layers. Each layer is almost different in decoration, but the style should be unified to show elegance in elegance. However, his son doesn't think so. He thinks that his father is not gorgeous enough, leaving so many blank spaces is like a waste of not developing a real estate in a golden area.

Chrysanthemum petal ornamentation

The overall layout is so dense that no fault can be found.

At the bottom of the book, the six character blue and white pattern of "Long Kiln Ware" is used to welcome the ancient simplicity. It is a carefully antique work by experts in the shop. It is completely up to the standard of the official kiln!
