Product Description
Yongzheng DesignerLord Yongzheng's view of the handed down beauty of the Ming Dynasty is contradictory. Of course, he knew the good of those objects, and repeatedly ordered them to be imitated; But I felt that there was something wrong here and there, and I had to change it. The biggest problem is that many places are not sophisticated and elegant enough.
For example, Chenghua's Doucai Chicken Bowl Cup has been highly respected for hundreds of years, especially in painting, which is a model of ceramic painting. Emperor Yongzheng, however, did not care about so much. It was not good enough. It was not delicate.
Yongle's flower pouring vessel is completely from Western Asia. It is rich, full, powerful and somewhat beautiful, but Yongzheng is not satisfied with it. He even doesn't want to spend his strength on improvement: redesign! Flower watering is still needed.
The emperor himself should personally participate in such a design. There is a general idea in my mind that Jingdezhen should implement it immediately and then make adjustments and modifications. It is unrealistic and the cycle is too long. It is difficult to develop a new shape without months of effort, and it takes a lot of time to transport it back and forth. It will take years to produce a sample and then modify it.
What should I do? There are craftsmen in the palace building office. Let them sample. Just beside the emperor, carpentry can be changed quickly. Pictures are easier. There are so many court painters, even foreign painters. The shape of the vessel was determined, and the wood sample and the painting were handed over to Tang Ying, the pottery official, to be fired in Jingdezhen.
Flexible and elegantThe mouth stretches outward along one side, which is of course convenient for water to flow out. Like a spout, it also looks smart, elegant, practical and beautiful, which is just right. The upward trend and the downward force of the abdomen form a corresponding tension.
Beauty of BottleneckDown, the neck slightly bulges a circle: because the neck is thin and the abdomen is full and powerful, the handlebar connects the two places. Without this circle, the neck seems to be unable to bear the force of falling.
Bottle typeWe also pay great attention to it. Upward decoration was made at the joint of both ends, like gorgeous English fonts. The neck stretches like a swan. The abdomen is full and powerful, but it is not clumsy. The two strings add a flexible charm. The feet should be handled cleanly and forcefully, and the abdomen should be firmly supported. It's a pity that Yongzheng doesn't work as a designer.
The rising force of the mouth edge and the sinking force of the abdomen form a corresponding tension. Let the whole object show strength in elegance.
Beautiful and elegantFrom top to bottom, it is divided into seven or eight layers. Each layer is almost different in decoration, but the style should be unified to show elegance in elegance. However, his son doesn't think so. He thinks that his father is not gorgeous enough, leaving so many blank spaces is like a waste of not developing a real estate in a golden area.
Chrysanthemum petal ornamentationLike the Yongle Emperor three hundred years ago, this time there was no dragon pattern. After all, it was a small sentiment like watering flowers. It would be boring if it was too serious. The most prominent is the chrysanthemum petal pattern on the upper and lower abdomen. It can be seen that the emperor loved chrysanthemums very much. The most famous set of colored glazed plates in the porcelain of that dynasty was also the style of chrysanthemums, and the people who painted chrysanthemums were even more numerous. The overall layout is so dense that no fault can be found.
Appreciate ancient interestsAt the bottom of the book, the six character blue and white pattern of "Long Kiln Ware" is used to welcome the ancient simplicity. It is a carefully antique work by experts in the shop. It is completely up to the standard of the official kiln!
Is flower watering only used for watering flowers?Purpose
Is flower watering only used for watering flowers? This has not been verified. The use of utensils always goes from having rules to not having rules, and it is the right way to use them well and skillfully.
I'm afraid that all those who can use water can use flowers. Even, it can simply be used as a vase, but it is not a small challenge to insert flowers well. You can imagine other uses, such as drinking.
THE HISTORY OF BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN• Blue and white porcelain began to be made in large amounts in Jingdezhen starting in the Ming(1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, gradually becoming the most recognizable ceramic style in both the East and West.
• This blue and white vase can tell you a lot about China's international history.
• The story begins with the mineral known as cobalt, which the Persians used to make a unique pigment which turned blue when heated.
• In the 13th century when the Yuan Dynasty took over China, culture penetrated into Chinese territory.
• Blue was a favorite color of Muslims as it symbolized water-"the treasure of the desert".
Chinese masters worked the imported blue powder into floral scrolls on the stark white porcelain, so the style came to be known as Qinghua, which literally means blue flowers.
• Later in the Ming and Qing dynasties, Qinghua was made in large amounts in Jingdezhen and became the most recognizable style in both East and West.
• Vessels exported from China could be found all around the world, from national museums to private collections.
• Many cultures around the world have had their symbols etched in Chinese blue and white.THE HISTORY OF JINGDEZHENJingdezhen, a world-famous porcelain town in Jiangxi. In Chinese, the name Jingdezhen is virtually synonymous with ceramics, particularly porcelain.• Historical records tell of Jingdezhen (then called Xinping) making porcelain in the Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD), while archaeological excavations have shown evidence of Jingdezhen firing porcelain in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (265-420).
• Jingdezhen Porcelain developed rapidly in the Song and Yuan dynasties (960-1368), and a series of imperial factories was set up in Zhushan (a district of Jingdezhen) during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1912), making Jingdezhen the nation's porcelain center.
• Jingdezhen porcelain is characterized by its beautiful shapes, various varieties, rich decorations, and unique styles. It is quite famous for its white porcelain, which is known for being 'white as jade, bright as a mirror, thin as paper, and sounding like a rock'.
• Regarding Chinese porcelain's glaze, blue was traditionally taken as the most precious color.
• During the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127),Jingdezhen kilns imitated the tone and moist texture of blue and white jade, and creatively fired a kind of qingbai ware ('blue-white' ware).
• The production of blue-white ware made Jingdezhen Porcelain particular important and famous at home and abroad.
OUR CRAFTSMAN• We have many Chinese masters of arts and crafts, Jiangxi masters of arts and crafts, as well as national first-class technicians and professional cooperation teams.
• These craftsmen have been employed for more than 20 or 30 years and were born in Jingdezhen's porcelain family.
• Their craftsmanship has also been passed down from generation to generation. We hope that through the efforts of the company and the craftsmen, the Chinese traditional ceramic culture as well as technology and aesthetics can be truly integrated into modern life, so that more people can feel, touch and use these artifacts.
• This is more like a dialogue with the ancients and the modern people.
• Porcelain transformed from the soil of nature
• It was once called "white gold" in western European countries
• Blue and white porcelain is the first global commodity
• The Ming Dynasty was at the beginning of global trade
• Witness the prosperity of porcelain trade between China and the West in the 17th century
