Product Description
Blue and white porcelain, also known as white ground blue and white porcelain, is often referred to as blue and white porcelain. It is one of the mainstream varieties of Chinese porcelain and belongs to underglaze colored porcelain. Blue and white porcelain is made of cobalt ore containing cobalt oxide, painted with patterns on the ceramic body, covered with a layer of transparent glaze, and fired in a high temperature reduction flame. Cobalt material is blue after firing, with strong coloring power, bright color, high firing rate and stable color.
Blue and white porcelain is the representative work of underglaze color, which really goes deep into the hearts of Chinese people in all directions. In fact, even if it is handed down from ancient times, some blue and white porcelain collected in the museum are not entirely domestic, because some blue and white materials are "imported"!
The original blue and white porcelain has been seen in the Tang and Song Dynasties, while the mature blue and white porcelain appeared in the Hutian kiln in Jingdezhen in the Yuan Dynasty. Blue and white porcelain of the Ming Dynasty became the mainstream of porcelain. It reached its peak in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it also created and burned varieties of blue and white, malachite green glaze blue and white, bean green glaze blue and white, blue and white red, yellow ground blue and white, Ge glaze blue and white.
The first maturity and glory of blue and white porcelain occurred in the Yuan Dynasty. Since then, it has rapidly established its dominant position in the world. With the changes and development of Yongxuan, Chenghua, Jiajing and Kangxi, the brilliant achievements of famous porcelain have been invincible for hundreds of years! In addition to production technology, culture, customs and other factors, the root is still the beauty of blue and white. Emperors, generals, civilians, literati, refined scholars, mountain villagers, far and near Europe, regardless of time and space, regardless of color and race, regardless of rich or poor, rich or poor, were all conquered by the beauty of blue and white, and were intoxicated by it. So that when people talk about porcelain, they basically mean blue and white. Blue and white almost become the consent language of porcelain.
However, the blue and white porcelain of the Qianlong period was different from the green Kangxi blue and white porcelain and the elegant Yongzheng blue and white porcelain.
This coffee cup has elegant and delicate decorative style, with the main content of entwined lotus, Ruyi pattern painted along the mouth, and variant lotus petal pattern painted at the bottom. The pen is fine and delicate, the composition is clear, the color is elegant, the layers are clear, the patterns are simple and clear, the theme is highlighted, the overall design is strong, and the rules are full of changes.
The Beauty of Entangled Lotus
It takes good imagination and expressiveness to read pictures and speak. It is not good to see pictures and appreciate porcelain. It limits the hidden details. No matter how excellent language is used to express it, it can not show its details.
Like our tangled branch lotus blue and white cup, you can't see the linear radian of the fine adjustment of the cup wall, although you can feel its uniqueness.
First of all, its type is designed by Li Shaozun in the fourth episode of Jingdezhen and made by Xiao Yaxu. They are all ceramists that Mr. Tu appreciates very much, so the cup itself is extraordinary. It looks ordinary. The smooth and smooth lines of the cup wall are natural for those who have not used it before.
As for the painters, Ah Ping, wife of the second shopkeeper of Chang Wu Ju, drew them with her own hands. Every line is proof of time. The Qianlong blue and white spot dyeing process is absolutely the best among traditional old craftsmen.
Are you used to the traditional shape as we are, and you also love the traditional blue and white flowers, especially the style of blue and white flowers in the Qianlong period? Another painstaking work of the Changwu House: blue and white flowers entwined with lotus, which is very popular
THE HISTORY OF BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN
• Blue and white porcelain began to be made in large amounts in Jingdezhen starting in the Ming(1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, gradually becoming the most recognizable ceramic style in both the East and West.
• This blue and white vase can tell you a lot about China's international history.
• The story begins with the mineral known as cobalt, which the Persians used to make a unique pigment which turned blue when heated.
• In the 13th century when the Yuan Dynasty took over China, culture penetrated into Chinese territory.
• Blue was a favorite color of Muslims as it symbolized water-"the treasure of the desert".
Chinese masters worked the imported blue powder into floral scrolls on the stark white porcelain, so the style came to be known as Qinghua, which literally means blue flowers.
• Later in the Ming and Qing dynasties, Qinghua was made in large amounts in Jingdezhen and became the most recognizable style in both East and West.
• Vessels exported from China could be found all around the world, from national museums to private collections.
• Many cultures around the world have had their symbols etched in Chinese blue and white.
THE HISTORY OF JINGDEZHEN
Jingdezhen, a world-famous porcelain town in Jiangxi. In Chinese, the name Jingdezhen is virtually synonymous with ceramics, particularly porcelain.
• Historical records tell of Jingdezhen (then called Xinping) making porcelain in the Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD), while archaeological excavations have shown evidence of Jingdezhen firing porcelain in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (265-420).
• Jingdezhen Porcelain developed rapidly in the Song and Yuan dynasties (960-1368), and a series of imperial factories was set up in Zhushan (a district of Jingdezhen) during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1912), making Jingdezhen the nation's porcelain center.
• Jingdezhen porcelain is characterized by its beautiful shapes, various varieties, rich decorations, and unique styles. It is quite famous for its white porcelain, which is known for being 'white as jade, bright as a mirror, thin as paper, and sounding like a rock'.
• Regarding Chinese porcelain's glaze, blue was traditionally taken as the most precious color.
• During the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127),Jingdezhen kilns imitated the tone and moist texture of blue and white jade, and creatively fired a kind of qingbai ware ('blue-white' ware).
• The production of blue-white ware made Jingdezhen Porcelain particular important and famous at home and abroad.
OUR CRAFTSMAN
• We have many Chinese masters of arts and crafts, Jiangxi masters of arts and crafts, as well as national first-class technicians and professional cooperation teams.
• These craftsmen have been employed for more than 20 or 30 years and were born in Jingdezhen's porcelain family.
• Their craftsmanship has also been passed down from generation to generation. We hope that through the efforts of the company and the craftsmen, the Chinese traditional ceramic culture as well as technology and aesthetics can be truly integrated into modern life, so that more people can feel, touch and use these artifacts.
• This is more like a dialogue with the ancients and the modern people.
• Porcelain transformed from the soil of nature
• It was once called "white gold" in western European countries
• Blue and white porcelain is the first global commodity
• The Ming Dynasty was at the beginning of global trade
• Witness the prosperity of porcelain trade between China and the West in the 17th century
